I've gotten the itch to refinish a stool or chair of some sort. I want to put one in my room to use while I do my make-up or as an extra place to sit and relax. There are so my ways to refinish old and worn chairs just by adding a coat of paint or fabric (and for cheap too!). - Coachella Music and Arts Festival -

This past weekend I ventured off to the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California. I had never been before and I hope I never have to miss it ever again! It was three full days of sunshine, music, amazing food and my closest friends... oh and 75,000 other people. There were incredible bands such as Vampire Weekend, She & Him, Phoenix and so many more. Jay-Z headlined the first night and of course his wife Beyonce made a special appearance. The crowds were full of energy and everyone was so excited to be there. There were tons of interesting and trendy people all with their individual and unique sense of style. I can't wait to go next year just to see all of the trends people come up with! For those of you who have never been-- Here are some photos I took of the fun filled weekend!

- Hidden Treasures! -

While I was searching the amazing world of Etsy the other day, I came across this company that takes old books and hollows them out to create hidden compartments. I always wanted one when I was a little kid and now I have finally found one! There are different titles, sizes and styles you can choose from. All of them are handmade and reasonably priced. You can put anything inside of them up on your bookshelf... and nobody would be the wiser. Aren't these are so neat and clever? I think this would make such a unique gift too!

- The simple things -

I was driving down the street the other day and noticed the sunset was absolutely beautiful! So naturally I whipped out my phone and took a picture of the sky. Isn't it amazing?! I think the palm trees look like they painted the sky. It's the simple things in life that we all need to sit back and appreciate more often! Enjoy the view!

I have always been a big fan of wearing hats and I'm always looking for new styles to try out. I was browsing the Urban Outfitters website when I came across this adorable straw riding hat! Its just so cute and I love the unique shape... Spring time is just around the corner!
